What are the advantages of using polyethylene, rather than steel or stainless steel, for dry ingredient dispensers?
Our rotationally molded dry ingredient dispensers are exceptionally resistant to mechanical damage, and will not sweat when warm material is placed in a cool dispenser, or the reverse.
These dispensers are food grade, and are ideal for ultra high density powders, as well as highly abrasive material, such as gravel.
Are the dispensers USDA approved?
The dispensers are manufactured with all USDA, 3A, FDA approved materials.
What are the advantages of bulk bags?
FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers) or bulk bags, can be used multiple times and or recycled. Bulk bags are an ergonomic alternative to 50 and 100-lb. bags. They are handled with a forklift or overhead hoist and can be quickly discharged.
Why using lifting frame to handle bulk bags?
Lifting Frames improve the utilization of Bulk Bags by minimizing lifting requirements needed to stage above processing equipment. Integrated lifting tubes allow a forklift to pick up the bulk bag from below while allowing full access to the discharge spout. A variety of configurations are available.
What types of metering devices are used on the dispensers?
We offer a wide range of metering devices from a manual pivot valve to automated valves, screw feeders, vibratory feeders and rotary airlocks.
What is the framework material?
Carbon steel painted with 316S/S Steel-It paint or 304 S/S is standard. Other options are available. Please contact us for more information.
What if I can’t get material in bulk bags?
We work with your suppliers to ensure that when the volume justifies bulk bags, this can be accommodated. We have worked with suppliers on adapting to bulk bags for more than 30 years.
Can existing equipment be used in a new powder material handling system?
Our equipment configurations often incorporate existing equipment. We believe in using as much of the on-hand equipment as possible to minimize costs.
